Nominating and Membership

This committee is responsible for recruiting members, maintaining the membership roster, collecting membership dues, and overseeing the our annual meeting held in November at the fire station on Ashland Ave.

Beautification

This committee is responsible for landscaping and maintenance of public areas of the neighborhood, including the gazebo garden and the clock garden at the intersection of Woodlawn Ave. and Southern Parkway.

Publicity

This committee is responsible for creating biannual newsletters and maintaining communications via the website, social media, and email.

Business

This committee is responsible for engaging businesses in the neighborhood in various ways. This includes involving them in events, encouraging them to join the association, and communicating with business owners about the BNA’s efforts.

Special Events

This committee is responsible for planning and organizing the Festival of Flowers, fall festival, and other neighborhood events.

Open Air Market

This committee is responsible for running the weekly Open Air Market, including recruiting and training vendors, recruiting volunteers to work the BNA booth, and just making sure the market runs smoothly.
